Abstract

The main structures and characteristic parameters that affect the working performance of vertical spiral stirred mill were analyzed and studied, and a method for selecting key working parameters was proposed. Based on the discrete element method, a simulation model of vertical spiral stirred mill was established, and the effects of spindle speed, agitator lead and grinding media size distribution on grinding performance were analyzed. A comprehensive grinding performance index was proposed, and orthogonal tests were conducted on each parameter to obtain the quantitative value of the grinding effect, and then the optimal working parameter combination under a specific weight coefficient was obtained, which provided a reference method for the optimal design of the mill.
