Abstract

Aiming at the problem of multi-target high-speed maneuvering detection, a multi-target detection method based on the improved orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm (OMP) is proposed. Firstly, the signal model is established according to the motion characteristics of high-speed maneuvering targets; secondly, the improved OMP algorithm is used to estimate the motion parameters of the echo signal after pulse compression; then, a phase compensation function is constructed to correct the range migration and Doppler migration; finally, the coherent accumulation is completed by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to achieve the detection of multiple targets. The improved algorithm is suitable for multi-target high-speed maneuvering detection scenarios, which can effectively avoid the blind speed sidelobe phenomenon and the influence of signal cross terms, and has the advantages of high parameter estimation accuracy and strong anti-noise ability. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness and reliability of the improved algorithm.
